Abstract
The calculations of the impurity doping effects in CrO2 were performed to investigate the ability of the applications by DV-X α method. The doping impurities are elements (Mo,W) belonging to the same family in a periodic table as Cr, and ones (Zr, Ru, Sn) with same crystal structure as the rutile. The calculated results show that the doping of Ru in CrO2 increases the magnetic moment and the Curie temperature, and would enhance the ability of applications to such as the sensor and DRAM.
