Abstract :
In this paper the finite element method and Rotating Field Theory are applied to calculate and analyze the origin of induction waves that generate the radial magnetic forces which excite stators vibrations and noise. This methodology is applied in a permanent magnet wind power generator prototype. The calculated results are proven by measurements.
