Abstract :
Nowadays, a great deal of research is being carried out to utilize the solar energy effectively through power electronics converters (conditioners) to meet the increasing demand for load. In this paper, a weighted Real Time Digital Predictive Controller (RTDPC) combined with a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique is proposed to control a flying capacitor inverter fed by a Photovoltaic (PV) solar panel through a DC-DC converter. Experimental results carried out using a 1kW prototype show high performance of the proposed.
