Abstract :
This paper deals with the use of hydrogen production systems to contribute to the utility grid primary regulation by wind farms. Two different strategies to control the power injected to the grid depending on the grid frequency are presented. A series of quality criteria are proposed to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of both techniques based on real frequency data.
