Abstract :
Model transformations are a key element of model-driven software development. This paper presents two main innovations: A general methodology to automate the model transformation in heterogeneous environments, and an ontological framework that captures system dependencies and supports reasoning about platform properties and capabilities. Our approach eases the development of software for heterogeneous environments. It has been tested for a realistic application scenario.
