Abstract :
Fe70Co30:Pd films and [Fe70Co30:Pd]n superlattice films are proposed for improving magnetic flux density (Bs). Fe70Co30:Pd films with Pd content 2.2 atom% exhibit higher Bs of 2.51 T and the Fe70Co30 sublayers of the [Fe70Co30:Pd]n film with the optimized Fe70Co30 and Pd sublayer thickness have the highest Bs of 2.62 T. These results seem to be caused by the enhancement of the magnetic moment of Fe atoms neighboring with Pd atoms.
