Abstract :
Multiple fault diagnostic strategy optimization problem arising in systems with redundancy is mainly considered. In systems with multiple faults and redundancy, the traditional fault diagnostic methods based on single fault assumption may have false and missed diagnosis. In order to conquer this problem, an optimization algorithm is presented. Firstly, the paper gives the formulation of the problem; and then, establishes multiple fault diagnostic reasoning rules based on Boolean logic and presents an optimization method which takes information gain as heuristic function. Eventually, a simulation example is studied and the simulation computational results show that the presented algorithm can solve the diagnostic strategy optimization problem in multiple fault redundant systems effectively.
