Abstract :
Two contactless power transfer systems are presented for piezoelectric actuators that need to be supplied by a modular low frequency signal. The first one represents a low frequency topology and the second one a novel medium frequency topology which tries to reduce the volume of contactless power transformer using resonant strategies. The comparison between both of them has been done in electrical and mechanical terms such as the THD at output voltage, system losses or transformer´s volume.
