Abstract :
The system hardware design and software design were detailed in this paper. The system can capture the video signal in format of PAL. TVP5150 convert the video signal to embedded syncs 8-bit ITU-R BT.656 format. Then TMS320DM642 process the data. The stable video processing system takes DM642, CPLD and NAND FLASH as the key chips, which realize video data capture, Ethernet transmission, memory, compression. The advantage of the system is using McBSP as the UART interface, the transmission speed is increased and the volume of boards is reduced. After debugging and testing the system, it is proved that which has good performance and stable system.
