Abstract
Micro-power source of Si photo cells connected across vertical sidewalls is proposed. 3D wiring can minimize the shadow area keeping the light receiving efficiency. The power generation of 12.2mW (operating point: 2.37V, -5.16mA) is confirmed from 10 cells in 5×5 arrays under the illumination light power of about 4mW/mm2.
