Abstract :
This paper deals with the seed-pixel determination process in the object extraction step when a per-object based classifier is used. A sequential algorithm (EHO-IRGI, Extraction of Homogeneous Objects through the ISOTADA and Region Growing Integration), which integrates the clustering and region growing techniques in order to compensate the biased segmentation process in a sequential region growing, is proposed
