Abstract :
Nd doped bismuth ferrite nanocrystals have been synthesized by the hydrothermal route. XRD, HRTEM, studies were done for the structural characterization of the samples. The a.c. conductivity of different BiFe1-xNdxO3 (x=0, 0.01, 0.03, 0.05,0.07) nanoparticles have been investigated within a temperature range 77□ T □ 300K. Frequency dependent Conductivity of the nanocrystalline bismuth ferrite samples becomes lower when Nd is doped which indicates that doping of Nd will lower the leakage current.
