  • Abstract
Workflow technology plays an important role in business process integration and optimization. The relation-based workflow model can be seamlessly integrated with crucial business applications, and business processes involved in planning management formulate a coherent workflow. Based on analysis of business processes involved in the planning management systems, the necessity of introducing workflow technology to planning management system is analysed and the workflow performers and the workflow tasks involved in the planning management system are specified. Accordingly, a relation-based workflow model for planning management systems is established. The workflow data model which describes the workflow performers and tasks is described with E-R chart, and the framework of the workflow control model is presented.
