Abstract :
Summary form only given. This paper describes the 3D modeling of a high-frequency induction heating coil by the numerical computation of eddy currents and heat conduction using the finite element method. Induction heating was demonstrated by using magnetic field-thermal coupled analysis. Analysis of the 3D frequency response was used to study the magnetic field, while non-steady state analysis was used for the thermal analysis.
