Abstract :
This paper focuses on the architecture design, implementation and optimisation of distributed speech recognition systems. Client-server DSR architecture is presented based on the analysis of alternative architectures and an integrated prototype system is investigated in the client, network and server parts. Finally system optimization is considered in transmission bandwidth, server workload control and client security aspects
