Abstract
Prior studies on relay architectures mainly focused on single cell scenarios and the impact of various forms of interference (i.e. relay-to-relay and base- station-to-relay) is often ignored. A new relay architecture is proposed to tackle the inter-cell interference problem. It significantly outperforms other relay schemes in SINR coverage and spectrum efficiency.
