Abstract
Submerged in the drastic competitive worldwide market, enterprises are encountering the challenge of alignment between business and Information technology (IT). Understanding what business and IT alignment is, how to obtain it and therefore maintain it, is a big issue to every enterprise. And using suitable alignment methods is critical to get this goal. Enterprise Architecture (EA) is an IT management tool to meet enterprises alignment demand. Using EA properly, enterprises can get their business benefits and improve their innovation competency. This paper introduces the alignment original theory, analyzes some alignment issues, and presents a brief introduction of EA common components. After that, a practical method is put forward to fulfill EA development need.
