Abstract :
The output characteristics of the broadband K-Ka TWT are commutated. For the purpose of diminishing the gain variation (by the method, described in [1, 2]), a stop-band is introduced at the centre of the operating frequency range by a periodical change of the delay line pitch up to greater or lesser values about its initial value over a same region of an interaction space. According to the performed computation, the gain variation of the considered tube is diminished due to this measure from 23 to 10 dB, and the output power is change very insignificantly.
