  • Abstract
    The simulation results of low-perveance electron gun with the influence of the initial thermal velocity and a linear compression of 12 units is performed. It is shown that at an accelerating voltage of 20kV and an unipolar induction of a magnetic field of 1,175T the average current density in the beam is j = 327 A/cm2. The simulation results of convergent sheet beam electron gun is presented as well.
