Abstract
The problem of scattering of open grounded dielectric slab´s natural modes from a finite number of cylindrical screens is considered. The correct solution allowing one to calculate the conversion coefficients of eigen modes and radiated field pattern with any desired accuracy is derived. It is proposed that the considered structures be applied to the design of compact highly directive radiators in open guides
