Abstract :
A method of enlarging mobile handset antenna frequency band is described. The method uses a matching series LC circuit to compensate reactance of the antenna impedance on the borders of the frequency band. Parameters of the LC circuit are determined using results of antenna simulation by the computer RFS code. The method allows to widen antenna´s frequency band nearly twice.
