Abstract :
With the intervention of technology into education, plain text learning material does not suffice anymore. Learning Management Systems (LMS) are effectively replacing the monotonous and rigid method of imparting education. However, there is a necessity of a framework to which these learning technologies can comply to. This paper discusses such a framework-SCORM. SCORM is the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) initiative of the U.S. Government for unifying e-learning specifications emerging from the international standards organizations into a single specification [1].
