Abstract :
Although precisely defined magnetic modulation of prebreakdown current occurs in silicone oil, it has been elusive to observe when transformer oil was the dielectric liquid. Other workers have consistently reported little conclusive evidence of such an effect. It is the purpose here to report some unexpected results using the ramped voltage technique in transformer oil
