Abstract :
In order to determine the stability intervals or the stability independently of the free parameter T, an Algebraic method is developed for a class of distributed parameter systems whose characteristic functions contain s, sinh(sT) and cosh( sT). Thus, the power of algebraic approaches is completely preserved. The approach can be easily extended to distributed parameter systems of which the characteristic functions contain s sums of terms containing sinh(ksT) and cosh(msT) for integer values of k and m to some upper values
