Abstract :
An extremely fine calcined powder of a Y type hexagonal ferrite below the melting point of silver was prepared with the aid of a small amount of sintering. Ultrahigh frequency chip inductors were then produced using this ferrite powder. The grain sizes, surface characteristics, density and permeability sintered samples were characterized. The frequency dependence of impedance of the chip inductor was also presented in this study.
