Abstract
It is shown that during the electrical aging of polyethylene (PE) insulation the velocity of the leading branch of the dendrite movement may increase as well as decrease. The growth of the fractal dimension level occurs in both cases. The character of this process depends on the level of the applied voltage. The dendrites, formed during the electrical aging of PE insulation, possess fractal properties not only in the space but also in the time domain
