Abstract :
It is described the creation of compact UWB double-ridged horn feeds of multi-beam reflector antenna for frequency ranges of 2-18 GHz and 1-18 GHz with directional characteristics in H-plane, approximate to characteristics of cophased horn. Wide angle misphased nozzle on aperture of double-ridged horn is set to improve the efficiency of excitation of reflection antenna aperture on lower frequencies in E-plane. Shorting rods at the beginning of ridges eliminate the half-wave resonance of current on their vertical ends on high frequencies.
