Abstract
Application of a step DC voltage to a dielectric liquid can provoke transient processes which are due to creation and distribution of space charges. Their existence is proved from specific dependencies of charging, discharging and reversal currents on time. In this paper computer calculations of the current-time characteristics for this transient time interval are presented. It is assumed that the volume recombination rate is a function of time
