Abstract :
RFID based pervasive Tracking System. It is used to track a disabled children´s in a wide area, such as a Children´s homage, tourist places, parks, beach etc... Using RFID technology. The hardware part consists of an RFID active tag, RFID reader, database server. The database server is located in the master station. The reader and multiple antennas are distributed around the open area the tags are programmed with kid´s profiles and are worn by the kids. Communication between the reader and the Data base server is done via wired LANs. The software architecture consists of communication driver that handles all communication functions done at the master station, an Application Programming Interface (API) that handles and analyzes the data, a GUI and a database that saves all readings and client information whenever the children moves out of the range without their knowledge SMS will be send to the concerned user.
