Abstract :
In this paper, authors present a design methodology of the sliding mode control of the active vibration isolation, based on Ackermann´s method. The control design makes the controlled system move in a time-variant sliding mode surface from the beginning, which ensures the stability robustness of the active isolation system in respect with the external turbulence from the base and the uncertainty parameter of system parameters. Realization of the control strategy at the active vibration isolation is also reliable and simple, as the study shows. The methodology this paper suggests will open a new way for the active robust control of vibration isolation systems
