Abstract :
A segment core, which is used from a large turbine generator to a small motor, improves yielding percentage. In this work, core losses of grain-oriented and non-oriented silicon steel cores are evaluated by torque, considering magnetic anisotropy, with rotational core loss simulator which can evaluate the total core losses of the stator with no deterioration of stress and short current between laminations.
