Abstract
Alloys of Y0.5Gd0.5Fe2Bx were prepared by arc melting in an argon atmosphere. Structural characterization, magnetization and electrical resistivity measurements were performed by X-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometer and Van der Pauw technique. As a result, temperature variation of electrical resistivity showed metallic behavior with a direct relation between resistivity and boron concentration. The behavior was explained base on electron-magnon scattering and electron-phonon interaction.
