Abstract :
As network technology keeps growing drastically and applications over IP network become more and more popular, the issue of network performance has increasingly drawn attention. Network performance data is an important reference in the process of analyzing network behavior, solving network fault and forecasting new services. In this paper, we put forward a distributed network measurement system based on Hadoop, a widespread Cloud Computing framework. Problems such as reliable storage and effective processing of mass data are solved based on Hadoop. Mass data of network performance indicators are stored and calculated using tools provided by Hadoop framework, which helps evaluate network performance more reliably and efficiently.
