Abstract :
Based on game theory, a general and compatible modeling process, named by GGMP/CSMA (General Game Modeling Process for CSMA/CA), is proposed. With τ (the probability that a node transmits packet in a slot time) as mixed-strategy of game, and M networks performance parameters as payoff functions of game, GGMP/CSMA constitute M rounds of n-players non-cooperative mixed-strategy game. After playing M rounds of game respectively, GGMP/CSMA obtain M Nash equilibria (τ1,τ2,..., τM) which is not equal to each other, and then input them into multi-constrained single-objective programming model to obtain a compromise τ*. At last, based on τ*, CW0(the minimum contention window) is designed. As exemplification, with throughput and successful transmission rate as M (M=2) kinds of game payoff, simulation results show that GGMP/CSMA improve networks performances.
