Abstract
In this paper we focus on the synthesis of the antenna arrays to be used in MIMO RADAR. In particular, considering an antenna synthesis perspective, we introduce a novel antenna architecture, based on the well known subarray synthesis technique, showing that is possible to achieve good imaging performances with a reduced number of control points when the view-field of the image to acquire is a known fixed angular sector.
