Abstract :
This paper addresses path loss prediction by means of Lee´s model for Jiza town, south of Amman city, Jordan. Data were supplied by mobile operators in Jordan in the frequency band of 900 MHz. A calibration for Lee´s model is done using ten different locations in Jiza town. The calibrated Lee´s, Hata, and Egli´s path loss models were compared with respect to the original collected data from mobile operators. The calibrated Lee´s model is found to have less RMSE compared to others, which suggests that this model is best representing such areas.
