Abstract
This paper presents general Time Domain (TD) analyses of reflector antennas using the asymptotic high-frequency approximations. In particular, physical optics (PO) and aperture integration (AI) techniques were employed to define the induced currents for the radiation. The radiations are decomposed with the formulations expressed in terms of the mechanisms of UTD-type ray phenomena. Examples are presented to demonstrate their characteristics.
