Abstract
The evaluation method is the basic tool for satellite navigation systems´ spreading codes design and performance analysis. This paper schemes a novel randomness-based evaluation method for spreading codes. Five basic randomness tests and the significance level are proposed in the scheme. The spreading codes of GPS L2C/L5/L1C signals are evaluated with the method. The result shows that the randomness affect the correlation and security of spreading codes, and the randomness-based evaluation method is helpful for designing the signal structure of satellite navigation systems.
