Abstract :
Multi-interphase transformers (IPTs) for connecting plural power converters in parallel are analyzed. Firstly, the basic model of multi-IPTs is introduced, which is composed of N-parallel inductors and a negative series inductor. Then, seven types of multi-IPTs are analyzed and compared with the basic model, two of which are those proposed in this paper. It is shown that these seven types of multi-IPTs are functionally all the same but have different characteristics in the aspects of volume, weight, and complexity
