Abstract
it is always a big problem in wireless repeater that isolation is not enough. As the receiving antennas receive useful signals from base station, it also receives interference signals from repeater´s transmitting antennas. If the isolation is lesser than the gain of a radio repeater, it will result in the repeater going into feedback oscillation. Based on debugging isolation as the technical background, an echo measurement method for wireless repeater is presented. Firstly, using CAZAC codes as the means for channel initial estimation secondly use variable step size LMS arithmetic to track the channel exactly. The result of test which uses DVB-T signals as the source proves the effect achieved by this function.
