Abstract :
The effects of atomic substitution of Fe and Co atomic sites on the magnetic and half-metallic properties of full-Heusler Fe2-xCoxCrAl (x=0, 1, 2) alloys were investigated by using the all-electron full-potential linearized augmented plane wave (FLAPW) method. Total energies, magnetic moments and the spin-polarized density of states of the alloy were calculated.
