  • Abstract
    The paper gives a brief description of the ECG bedside monitor that is based on STC89C52RC microcontroller. The significant feature is that, it integrated the functions of sampling, analysis, storage, and displaying together. It can monitor the ECG and identify abnormal waves dynamically and send out alarm by transmitting the ECG data to hospital center. The paper also particularly introduces the function of the instrument, the main hardware circuit and the software of the system. By clinical using, the experimental results show that the device has strong anti-interference capability, reliable performance and the real-time operation and veracity of disease detection met our requirements. The veracity of QRS detection is up to 99.9% and the arrhythmia detection is up to 95.2%.
