Abstract
One of the primary challenges in the implementation of the UWB radio is the design of the analog-to-digital converter (ADC). To relax the ADC requirements, the frequency channelized receiver is presented. Among the advantages of the frequency channelized receiver are the robustness to narrowband interference and the ease of designing the sample/hold circuitry. This paper summarizes some of our recent work on the frequency channelized receiver for digitizing UWB signals.
