Abstract
For the tuning of PID controller parameters, two methods are presented in this paper to overcome the uncertainty of the parameter estimation, which are time-varying forgetting factor and model verification using correlation function. Then an optimization criterion is used for the self-tuning of the PID controller parameters. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the presented method
