Abstract :
According to the characteristics of AC motor, by use of model reference theory, established a mathematical model, and deduced the responding control algorithm. Developed the embedded controller with core of ARM7S3C4510B and expanded interface of A/D and D/A. Achieved a closed-loop control of AC motor speed, and gave the experimental results. Comparing with the corresponding results of PID controller, under the step response, motor overshoot is smaller than that of under PID control, dynamic performance is also significantly better than the PID control. When operating steadily of 900 r/min, motor runs smoothly with sudden load disturbance. It shows that this system has good performance.
