Abstract
This paper introduces a modified relaxation approach that allows to improve the convergence of iterations while analyzing mixed systems with different simulators. The method reduces the local feedbacks in the decomposed system by the use of rough models of parts in the neighboring parts of the system. This improvement is very important for mixed systems where optimal partitioning methods are not possible and the choice of the suitable types of coupling is also restricted
