Abstract
Radio propagation at frequencies above 10 GHz suffers severe impairments in tropical regions, especially due to rain attenuation. To design and optimize Fade Mitigation Techniques, the use of attenuation time series is required. Time series synthesizers already developed and in study, for terrestrial and satellite links, are presented and tested in this paper.
