Abstract :
This paper presents a new method of multi-rate system identification based on improved particle swarm optimization (PSO). The paper discusses multi-rate system transformation based on the lifting technique. The coefficients of multi-rate systems with the state-space model are estimated using least square estimation technique and improved PSO techniques, respectively. The results show that the improved PSO algorithm has higher accuracy and faster convergence than the least squares method in multi-rate system identification.
