Abstract :
In the field of industrial control, the design of the state machine is very important to the quality of CMOS chips. The description of state machine is the central of its design on HDL (hardware description language). According to the graphology in mathematical induction, this paper introduces a new rule to classify the description method. The structural framework of the state machine and its principle are analysed. Finally, we discuss the applications to the source code compiling, reading and simulation
