Abstract
This paper studies the dynamic nonlinear characteristics of a multi-axis wrist force sensor in the time and frequency domains. The dynamic nonlinearity are analyzed, and the dynamic mathematical models of the multi-axis wrist force sensor are developed. In the frequency domain, when the input is a non-Gaussian signal, the solution of the quadratic nonlinear transfer function is given. In the time domain, a dynamic nonlinear modeling method is proposed based on the functional link artificial neural network. The paper describes accurately the dynamic characteristic of the multi-axis wrist force sensor, and provides a reliable basis for correcting the dynamic nonlinearity. The methods presented in the paper can be applied to the dynamic nonlinear researches of other sensors and measuring systems
